Fraser Island is accessible to 4WD Vehicles only. All roads on the Island are SAND TRACKS, Low range is required to traverse the island. The Eastern or Ocean Beach is traversable 2 hours either side of the high tide. Normal Australian road rules apply to all tracks and beaches on Fraser Island.
