got their name from a competition in The Daily Growl; they had always been on the first “Loading Screen” in Moshi Monsters, but they didn’t have a name or wasn’t a Moshling at the time the competition took place. Their name stands for I’m Gonna Get Ya. I.G.G.Y.
What is a Moshling?
Moshlings are a collection of tiny Moshi Monsters species that act as collectable creatures that monsters can obtain and take care of by keeping them in their Moshling Zoo and displaying them in their room. Moshi Monsters Egg Hunt introduced Super Moshlings. These are fifth members of each set.

The Moshling are not part of the higher-level monsters of the Moshi world, but rather occupy the position of pet and companion for Moshi Monsters. Much like cats and dogs are for humans, Moshlings live in the home with their owners, where they are highly social.
Why do i.g.g y Chase cursors?
I.G.G.Y loves chasing and eating cursors. They are the first thing to be seen when logging into Moshi Monsters, as they feature on the Loading Screen and chase the cursor to eat it. Moving the cursor would shake them off and would proceed chasing it again. It was to keep one entertained during the loading.
How many Moshlings can you keep at a time?
Paid Members can keep up to six Moshlings in their room at any one time, but in addition to the six Moshling that they retain in their home as pets, they are also permitted to keep others they find, capture, or are rewarded with in their Moshling Zoo space!
